Hakeem Olajuwon or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Which player was more unstoppable on the offensive end and defensive end as well. Hakeem Olajuwon is known for his Dream Shake post skills and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is know for his trademark Skyhook

Which player will be more unstoppable in Nba 2k12?
Which of these two player are you more excited to play with and why?

Thanks.

I think Hakeem would be better...however I'd be more looking forward to playing with Kareem because he's teamed up with Magic

I have a feeling Jabbar's skyhook will be money 9/10 times and pretty much unblockabble. I also think Jabbar's rating will be 97/98 and Dream 95/96

Re: Hakeem Olajuwon or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Difficult question. However I'll provide with a complex answer.

For one season: Olajuwon

For a career: Abdul-Jabbar

For one game: Olajuwon

For a playoff run: Abdul-Jabbar

For a team without a franchise player: Olajuwon

For a team with another franchise player on it: Abdul-Jabbar

For one play on offense: Abdul-Jabbar

For one play on defense: Olajuwon

If you are comparing late 80's Jabbar to Hakeem then I think it will be reversed as what you said. Hakeem should have advantages in agility, handle and perimeter jump shots blocks. I don't know the Bucks year with Oscar Robinson but that is a better comparison. The Lakers years are towards the end of his career. I still would want to play with the dream more. Just to see the post moves

I totally agree. Also if you using the 87 Lakers this was Kareem's 2nd to his last year before retiring in 88. In 87, Kareem averaged 17.5 points per game. He was obliviously on his way down and not in his prime anymore but still a force to be reckoned with . However, if you are using Kareem on the 71 Bucks, Kareem averaged 31 points per game and was playing some of his best basketball then.

Hakeem was in his prime during the 94 and 95 seasons. Hakeem averaged 27 points per game during those two seasons. Granted Hakeem had to do more since he was the lone superstar on his team in 94 but Drexler did come along in 95, but still.

Kareem IMO was better in his prime than Hakeem was in his prime. I think Hakeem would be more fun to play with than Kareem but I think the 87 Lakers may be more fun to use than the 94 Rockets, but would rather use the 94 Rockets than the 71 Bucks(if that makes any sense).
