If I pre-order from Amazon, could I still get the teams? or do I have to pre-order from a Gamestop/Wal-Mart?

No need to pre-order. They come with all initial copies.

The Kings were one of my favorite team growing up because the Bulls were terrible from 1998-2004, and the Kings had White Chocolate and C-Webb putting on a show. I can't wait to use them in the game. They were a fun team to watch and got screwed out of a Finals Appearance by the referees during their e.pic (<--- why is this filtered?) matchups against the Lakers.

Yes, you get every team with every copy of 2k12. There are no preorder bonuses, they chose not to go that route.
