i simulated the two on cpu playing fight night champ. jmm, a created player, of course, won the fight via unanimous decision. will this be the case in the real life boxing on the 12th of november?

Should be an interesting fight. Though Marquez has slowed down considerably but still possess his boxing skills. Will that be enough for the faster, stronger opponent in Pacquiao? we'll see.

I'm split on this fight.

If Marquez can establish his jab and keep Pacquiao away with his counter punching he should be able to nab this by decision. If not, Pacquiao will just steam roll Marquez. I'm thinking his straights will be his yardstick for Marquez.

Wish they had fought earlier though, Marquez poses a much stiffer challenge back then. I have a feeling his age will show on this one.

Marquez is simply nowhere near the same fighter at 140 and they're fighting at 144. Marquez is clearly much slower north of 130 and packs no punch. Pacquiao on the other hand is extremely explosive at that weight and very comfortable.
