Players automatically passing the puck

Weird issue. Sometimes when I pass the puck to a player he will push the puck or pass it without me pressing any buttons. Anyone else see this? I actually saw it on last year's version also..

What mode? Are you holding the pass button too long maybe? I've never had this happen to me in any version...

I may be holding it too long thats what I was thinking. All game modes really. I pass the puck up to a forward and he just pushes it forward without me doing anything.

The direct pass (double pass) is improved this year, so it is now easier to initiate two passes in a row than before.
I think this is what you're experiencing.

Holding the trigger only sets the pass speed. You could hold it for an instant or 2 sec., but only one pass with be made. I think you are pulling and releasing the trigger as th puck is traveling to the receiver.

This is true if you have manual passing turned on. If it's off, I believe you pass when you push the trigger, rather than when you release it.

Either way, odds are it's something you/your controller are doing.
