Messed up d subs late in game. post patch

Ok, I've only played 1 game post patch so far, and had a great back and forth game going to the 4th quarter. san jose st 29 me - toledo 26 cpu. All of a sudden im on defense and i dont recognize any of my players. somehow my defense was scrambled up and i had 4th stringers wide receivers on the dl line, and even a tight end playing safety. I could not figure out how to get my starters back in, i tried calling a timeout, making sure mass subs wasnt some how turned on. Couldn't figure out what happened. Needless to say i ended up losing 40-29. I've played probably 75 games pre patch and never had anything like this happen. Curious if this has happened to anyone else, and maybe a solution so this game killer doesnt show its face again.

Same thing as last year.

I had some second stringers force subbed in the fourth quarter, nothing out of position, though I could not put my starters back in. This was at key positions, running back, linebacker, and wide receiver.

No sense in all the problems with this game.
