It was a long slog, but I am stoked tomorrow is finally approaching

I love what Hockey season and football season mean...Cool weather coming, long sleeves come out of my drawer, for a short time on tv, EVERY major sport is on at the same time (exception being NBA this year). Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas...My favorite time of year.
Ive been waiting for this years NHL even more so than any in recent memory. Yeah I know it aint perfect. I dont expect it to be, but I know its going to entertain. And for the first time in a long time I look forward to playing offline as much as online. Tomorrow is but a few hours away...

It was the same for me, but it's less and less link to the Madden and NHL coming out. NHL as been a deception for the last 2 years while Madden is still having me scratching my heads over why I persist buying it since I put it to rest after 2-3 days of playing.

I hope that the NHL 12 will be a fun game for me this year. I can live with all the crap online, it's online and like everything game online, 90% of people are idiots while the other 10% how we're fine finished like idiots because they're surrounded by idiots. Offline, when the AI isn't playing normally, it makes the game less entertaining. Hope that 12 is ok in that matter so at least I can have fun offline.

The most nagging thing for me about the NHL coming out for the last two years is always the process leading to it. Big splash, big announcements, big this and big that. The new way to sell something is bugging me. It seems more important for EA (they aren't alone in this) to put efforts in the showing of the game than the game itself.

In fact, I think the best way to describe the EA way since 2 years is what men's doing when they want a woman. I'll tease you and show you my best side. I'll act like I'm really caring about what you say and even make you think that I understand what you feel. I'll be polite, act like a gentleman and even not push you around to get into bed with you. When I will finally got you, get full extent of what you're all about, I'll simply say : "Hey, we had fun! Now, I have work to do, I'll call you back soon".

And like the girl, the customer (at least my self), when EA's calling in may-june, I'm all excited and ready to get f*ck*d again!

Yep, this is a great time of the year, and tomorrow, EA will get my 60$ again. Isn't life beautiful?

I am excited and somewhat sad. Because of a discount I had to order it online so probably not getting it for a couple more days the $20.00 price was worth but will be jealous for couple days. Good luck gentleman and Happy Hockey.

NHL season is all winter has going for it...

I get to play beer league year round so I really have no use for winter anymore.
