Anybody experiencing sound that just seems lower (Master Volume and crowd) than other games. I sometimes hear a louder "pop" once in awhile which is weird. I know the commentary kinda goes up and down, but it def seems to be lower than other games. Anybody else?

I havent heard much differential in sound levels besides the commentary. The loud pop noise i do get and I'm telling you, if I blow a speaker because of it, EA will be paying!

The sound this year is horrendous, I've had to up the crowd level to 100, lower the commentary down to 65, lower on field to 90 and the PA to 95 then crank my system to -10db just to get some sort of stadium immersion while playoung

Are you on PS3? There are some serious bugs with graphics(see my post photo field thread) and I also get a nasty pop on my system every once in a while on PS3. Also Gus and Chris sound like they were recorded out of cell phones. Don't know if this sound issues are on both consoles or not. probably are..

i haven't experienced the volumes but the popping or dropping of a mic i've heard from the demo to the early release to retail and so has alot of ppl when first heard it thought my speakers were cracking but then i put 11 in and played a whole game and not one pop.

Well, atleast I'm not the only one with the popping. I thought it was my surround sound and was getting pissed. I popped in COD and everything was fine .

Nope, I'm running a ONkyo prsc886($2k) a Emotiva XPA 5($800) paradigm studio 40($1300 pair) system, and mine still sounds like crap. I stated those prices to show its on any level sound system.The pops are aweful, but at least only happen once a game or so. The cell phone quality voive over is funny. The sound dude at EA is probably the worst I have seen in video games. I am sorry to have to say that, but it is true.

I also have had the loud sound pop crack from time to time. The crowd also sounds too low at times it sounds like your in a library and it really hurts the atmosphere. Can't the developers realize this when testing the game? If we can spot these things right away why can't they? I have the PS3 version.

Yep, I experience the exact same thing described by the OP on PS3
