MADDEN 12 VERY SLOW GAMEPLAY: UPDATED TO 3.1!!

******this is now version 3.1******!!

These sliders are intended for Franchise play, if you arent seeing the results you like from play now games, this is why. for further info regarding the potential of these sliders in a franchise format, please see here:

http://www.operationsports.com/forum...g-sliders.html

Version 3.1 update notes:

the Cpu pass game was very hit or miss. even playing a very good qb wouldnt result in consistent stats by them. the adjustments made fix that.

also the cpu completion percentage was pretty low. I noticed that this was because of alot of drops made my the wrs from hits and etc. to fix this and up the completion percentage, the cpu catch slider has been raised and works great.

the cpu blocking worked well against vanilla defense, but when using a complex defense like rex ryans or dom capers... it was still easy to sack the qb 5 times a game.

interceptions were too high for both teams, thats been fixed.

user run game has been toned to be less effective because of broken tackles

fatigue has been raised to get a more realistic feel of substitutions

threshold has been lowered slightly because lineman were catching rbs from behind on hand offs too easily

to get the best results. follow these steps.

1. if these are too easy for you, i apologize. i am good at madden, not effing amazing

2. these will be fun if you do not cheese by always throwing to your slot or running slants all day long.

3. if your offensive line is pretty good, like all are mid 80's or higher. knock pass blocking down 3 points. anything else keep it the same.

4. if your running back is below a 80. running the ball will be hard, unless ur o line is amazing. in the case ur o line is mediocre/average with a young back who aint good yet, run it for the sake of running it. and draws are your best friends.

5. play action blocking actually works. it works best on down and distance the cpu is not expecting it.

6. these should be used with a gameflow to help make sure you dont cheese when ur tempted.

7. i am using blaine gabbert in my chise. he is a 75. if you use a qb who is a 85 or higher, drop qb accuracy by 4 points. if ur qb is 90 or higher. drop by 8 points.

8. play a hard team first, or a team with a good defense and qb. playing a easier team will give u a false idea of these sliders. these are intended for franchise play where dpp is in full effect.

okay the sliders are based on all pro.

the updates from version 2.1 are in BOLD

11 min quarters. play clock rundown to 20 sec.

game speed very slow ( highly important)

threshold-30
fatigue-65

9/12/11-I've decided to add my much requested auto sub sliders, here ya go!

QB:60/80
RB:87/92
WR:86/92
TE:75/84
OL:60/80

DT:84/89
DE:84/89
LB:82/87
CB:76/85
S:82/88
Make sure you read steps 1 through 8 when putting in your sliders and before playing. it is crucial to a successful game.

okay let me know how it goes. depeding on your teams or your talent level these may be too hard or too easy. hopefully just right. i ask that you give them at least 2 games against 2 opposite style teams so you can get a feel before you leave your thoughts.

and as always your thoughts and comments and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism are welcome!!

enjoy!!

I just finished a game with these updated sliders, Cincinnati at Chicago. I figured I'd go ahead and play a team ranked higher than Cincy to see if there would be some added challenge there and in a potentially hostile environment. This game looks a lot closer on the scoreboard than it should have been on the field.

Cincinnati 0-17-7-3=27
Chicago 7-3-0-14=24

Mike Nugent won the game on a FG as time expired, his second FG in three attempts. His one missed FG hit the crossbar from 53 yards out. Cincy got the ball back at the 3:51 mark and never relinquished it, setting up that game-winning 31-yard FG. The Bengals led 24-10 going into the 4th. A fumble by Benson gave the Bears good field position en route to their second TD, making it 24-17. Cutler would add another TD pass nearly five minutes later tying the game.

In terms of team stats, Cincy outgained Chicago 417-305. Dalton threw for 225 yards (19-25, TD) while Cutler gained 175 (17-26, 2 TD) in the air. Benson ran for 201 yards on 27 carries (7.4 YPC, long of 79), Forte 139 (7.5 YPC, long of 25) on 18 carries. Jerome Simpson led all receivers with 9 REC for 121 yards and a TD.

I would be ecstatic if Dalton had a completion percentage of 76% in any game. Hell, I would have loved it of Carson had those kinds of numbers during his tenure as Cincy's starting QB! Dalton's numbers again appear to be somewhat unrealistic, especially for a rookie QB rated at 71 overall. I'm also a bit concerned about the high YPC as well for both teams. Both featured backs averaged well over 7 yards per carry. I was otherwise satisfied with everything else.

Re: m12 very slow gameplay(updated)

i will post stats of a game i just played. the bills vs redskins in week 7 of my chise.

i won 41-13 but the score is greatly misleading. i was up 7-3 late in 2nd quarter. i scored a td to go up by 14....2 plays later i stripped and returned a fumble for a td to go up by 3 scored. after that they had zero momentum.

yardage wise. gabbert was 19-29 with 241 yards 1td 0 picks
grossman was 12-26 with 240 (busted play for a long td pass) with 1 td and 2 picks. i knocked him out and clemens came in. he was 1 for 4 for 10 yards.

rushing i owned mostly cuz i knocked ryan torain out for 2 quarters and they got away from the ground game. hightower was 4-24 tho.

for me, my 3 backs went 14-62, 13-52, and 8-50 totalling 3 touchdowns.

they had three costly turnovers i had zero. total offense i had 398, they had 289.

3rd down they were 5-10 i was 7-11

the score is really from the turnovers. i got ahead early and they all got cold dpp and they had no chance.

Hopefully these are a bit more difficult than the last ones. Check your other thread for my notes on that. I'll try these a bit later, I am very optimistic though.
