Has playing the early release changed your decision to purchase the game?

I feel after spending lots of time with the game this weekend, that I won't be purchasing this year. Before this early release I was definitely going to purchase, so I'm just wondering the early release changed your decision of buying the game?

The reasons for my decision not to purchase this year is there are just so many things that are broken. There is not one huge flaw, it is just a lot of the little things that are just off.

An example being in franchise mode, I constantly get a pop up asking me if I want to continue simming the season because my players will not be scouted. The problem is, I never simmed the season once. Little things like that are problems in this game, and there are many of them. So while Madden 12 is an improvement from Madden 11, it's just not good enough to pay full retail price.

So has the early release changed your purchase decision?

The demo brought me back, and Season Ticket has confirmed how I feel about the demo.

Re: Has playing the early release changed your decision to purchase the game?

Being able to get feedback from fellow OSers prior to Tuesday has been invaluable for me. I didn't buy the ST this year, but with all of the OSers that did, I have gotten a really good feel about managing expectations for Madden 12.

That said, it has changed my buying of the game. I went from pre-order on Amazon to canceling the pre-order and waiting to hear what the patch(es) are going to address and what lingering issues will remain before/if I buy it this year. I'm actually really glad EA did the Season Ticket b/c I feel like it will work both ways. They will snag some people who might not buy, but they will also allow people who would have bought to hold off.

For now I'm happy playing M11 with updated rosters.
