Are the XBox 1 / PS2 Games Better?

I've heard that the late PS2 / XBox1 games played better because they were on an older engine with a different AI model. I'm already back to playing NFL2k5 as it is. Figured if it was worth it I may as well try an older version.

The games from 2005 on were simply amazing. Words can't express how much I loved those games and we are still waiting for some of the features and game play elements offered back then to show up now, however, I couldn't go backwards man. NCAA12 is a great game.

I play 07 on the ps2 almost daily. It's actually fun w/o being infuriating like all the 360/PS3 versions.

If people would exercise a little self control and not buy the game day 1 because of all the bugs then maybe that would show EA that the product must be worth the money in order for it to sell well.

Unfortunately....people fail to learn from their mistakes.

Better than 09, 10, 11? Yes. Better than '12? Not even close.

Last Gen had tons of features the game deep. Drills, Mini-Games, Discipline,Momentum, spring Game. Campus Legend was deeper than RTG now. Sports Illustrated Mags. FCS Teams.
There is a ton of features I want in the game

If you add a working OD mode, better graphics, and 1 or 2 more of the WORKING newer features '07 would blow '12 out of the water.

Just for fun I popped NCAA 2005 into the XBox last night. 8 min qtrs, all american with sliders I used back in 04/ 05. Played as UNC @ Auburn. Good game. Lost 17-24. Rallied with 2 late td's to make it close. Campbell 12/18 for Auburn, Durant 19/36 for me. I couldn't run. Auburn ran all over me. Game had a nice feel even though I hadn't played a complete 05 game since early 2005 LOL. Drops weren't bad, know how to play better now than I did then which helps cut down on that nonsense. That was the most fun i've had playing NCAA football in quite awhile.

Interesting. I'll have to try that. Does it play on the 360?
