Disabled List Never Advancing?

In my Pirates franchise, I put Jose Tabata on the 15-day DL on April 24 for an 11 day injury. However, I am now on May 13 of my franchise (which is past both the 11 and 15 days for the injury and DL respectively) and it still says he is hurt for 10+ days and has 13 days to go on the DL. What is wrong here and is there some way I can fix this?

Yeah it's a glitch in the game, you have to send someone from the minors to the majors and replace them with the injured guy and then it will work.

Re: Disabled List Never Advancing?

yea you cant send them down normally though.. you need to call someone up and when it says "the team is over 25 players would you like to switch with someone" or w/e then pick the injured player to send down and the injury will progress normally.

it does this because the games need to be simmed for the injury to go down. if you simmed all your mlb games it would go down normally but most people wont do that. and since all AAA and lower games are simmed its the only way to get it to work

Ah alright thanks guys appreciate all the help. Yeah I did some testing and it went down normally in a simmed game but a played/supersimmed game didn't work. So thanks I'll send them down appreciate it.

Am I wrong or this isn't the case for pitchers? I've seen a starting pitcher decrease from 53 to 52 games on DL after my first regular season match.

I only play 1 or 2 games per series and sim the rest so it doesn't really affect me. You might try that if you don't want the headache of moving players to the minors.

What? So if I have someone on DL I have to send them down for it to work right? What if I bring someone up and do not send anyone down? You do not have to send a player on DL down right?

Re: Disabled List Never Advancing?

I think that's exactly what he's saying. Unless you sim all or most of your games it won't work correctly. So sending the player to the minors (Thus having the games simmed) is the only way around this.

I don't have enough experience with the game to say if it's correct or not. My current chise has me in mid April with 2 players on the DL one from Spring Training and one just broke his wrist sliding into second. The one from ST is having the days come off...not sure about the other. Thanks to this thread both were moved to AAA and the DL.
