Are rankings in the wrong order?

I'm in franchise and the loading screen comes on before the game starts and it shows the major league ranking in pitcher strikeouts.

The Tigers were in 1st place with like (100) strikeouts, while the Yankees with (250) the most were 30th place. Shouldn't it be the other way around with the Yankees in 1st and the Tigers in last place? Now don't quote me on the strikeouts because there not accurate, but they're just examples.

I see this with other rankings too, the best ones are last place while the worse are first.

Re: Are rankings in the wrong order?

that might be offensive strikeouts. meaning not how many you've thrown but how many you've received from at bats. If that's the case, then the rankings are correct, lower is better.

I have experienced what you are talking about...it happens w/ some of the stats in that screen that pops up to compare offensive/pitching rankings and typically happens more w/ pitching stats...I have seen offensive (HRs and I believe BA) switched around. It's random and one of those things. The next time you see it, it could be 100% correct.

You're just getting confused with offensive and defensive stats. 100 strikeouts is much better 250 on the offensive side.

It's possible, but what the OP stated as there are several examples, it happens exactly what he/she is stating. I believe the OP meant to state the example as Pitching Ranking/stats. If the screen comes up again w/ errors such as the OP is stating, I will post a picture. I have seen stolen bases incorrectly ranked and that's a hard one to confuse where the ranking should be...it's in the bottom half (i.e., Offensive stats ranked) and where my controlled team had more stolen bases w/ a lower League ranking than the CPU controlled team; and the other Offensive stats are Ranked correctly.

The OP is correct w/ the observation; it is random and one time it will be correct on a stat ranking, the next time it could be wrong...you can see all rankings correct and you could have one or even several incorrect.

Re: Are rankings in the wrong order?

Here is a Pic of the random issue...this example only has 1 incorrectly ranked vs the other team (not sure if all ranking are correct League-wise) ...HRs for Offensive/Batting, Brewers should be higher in rank than the Cubs (HRs for 'Pitching' are alphabetical, so Chi same but just ahead of Mil).
