2k sports community down?

For the past day or two, I have been trying to log on to the 2k sports website and it has not been working. I recently uploaded a video to the online community part of the website VIA MLB 2k11. But for some reason it is not letting me log on or even go to a different part of the website. I'm guessing this is just one of the many 2k sport screw ups (GET IT TOGETHER 2K!), but if anyone knows how to fix it please let me know .

2k community is down for now. THey announced it a month ago on 2ksports.com/forums message boards.

Online league sites, blogs, media etc are not accessible for the time being.

They are upgrading the site. And getting ready for NBA 2k12 I think.

discussion thread here. People are very negative but who knows that they will come back with when the upgraded site is back. Online leagues get it the worst as they can't Sync their schedules and such anymore. However, the leagues still work fine you just can't use the site to do things you can't do on the console.

Ahhh I see. I was a bit confused at first, lol it's quite annoying actually. Do you know when it will be available again?

I remember reading; whenever the new site is ready. That's as specific as it was.

This is dissapointing. This announcement should also have been made at the top of the 2k sports main page. I also have had trouble logging in to the 2k sports forums saying I have the wrong password even though I had the password reset and sent to my email address, waited for the 15 minute log in quota, talked to customer service etc.

Should it really be this difficult? No, 2k made an awesome game with NBA 2k11 but they need to take some lessons from EA about general server and communication issues to provide an enjoyable experience for gamers online. I respect that this maintenance time is to provide time and effort in making an improved new site which may solve some of these dilemnas. But it remains to be seen...
