Right stick audibles ARE in the game

It took me a while to figure this out (due to their poor interface decision to hide the control scheme) but if you hit "x" twice, you can then use the right stick to choose the Long Pass, Short Pass, Run, and Playaction audibles.

This is for 360, but I'm assuming it works the same for PS3, and obviously this also applied to defense.

WHAAAA?! Hurray! Need to try that out since, by default, quick audibles are useless if playing someone on the same system.

Agreed. Also, it's just a hassle to use. There's also the simplified control option or whatever it's called that lets you use the LB and RB for Linebackers and D-Line group shifts. To me it's silly that you have to enable that, they're really pushing their control scheme this year and, as a usability expert, I can't stand it.

Yeah, I was frustrated with that until we looked at options mid-game and saw it sitting there, switched to off. I spent so long learning those controls through years of Madden play, and now they're an option... that isn't enabled by default. As long as it's all in there, though, I'll be happy.

This is what constantly agrivates me about the Madden team. They constantly mess with stuff that already works and make it worse. Secondly they constantly take out features they have put in that people like only to bring them back a few years later after we all complain about them taking them out.

They seriously need to learn what a focus group is and use them smartly.

Instead of messing with stuff already working, fix the stuff that is broken every year that you ignore. Example mind reading DB's and no Pass Interference calls.
