Introduction
Hello and welcome to the NEW 2011 NCAA Football FCS Team Directory. This new and improved thread was designed to be more user friendly and to provide you with the most up to date content and information regarding accurately created FCS teams to import to NCAA Football 12. Through the use of EASports' Teambuilder this group of talented team/roster creators are dedicated in what they do and pride themselves on bringing you the most authentic FCS teams with accurately named rosters. You wont find this collection of talent on any other website but OPERATION SPORTS!!!!!!


The History:
The idea for this thread began over a year ago with NCAA Football 11 by a guy named "The Run and Shoot", to which myself and others offered valuable feedback to become what is now a huge success across the college football gaming community. The collective group of individuals that work great together to share feedback to one another regarding their team to make them as accurate as possible to deliver to YOU the best experience you can have in NCAA 12.


How does it work?
All you need to know if you want to download these teams is check out the "Dashboard" below to see if your favorite team or any team in general has been created. If you don't see your team, by all means request for it to be completed and it will be completed in a matter of days if not sooner.
-You will see a "Post #" and a "Creator/s OS Name and Teambuilder Name".
-If a team has details listed, all you need to do is reference that "Post #" that's in the dashboard and search for it within the thread.
-When you locate the actual post, it will have plenty of details regarding that team such as a link to the teambuilder site to review the rosters, uniform, stadium, and many more details.
-You will also see a TIMESTAMP that has a date and time associated with it.


What is a Timestamp?
Since all teambuilder data can be shared across both the Xbox 360 and PS3 you can download anybodys team but there is some extra searching involved if your trying to download a team that was created on the opposite console. For example, I create all my teams using the Xbox 360 profile, see below for an example of what you will need to do if you're a PS3 user.

Steps to download Teambuilder creations on Xbox 360/PS3
1. Go to the TEAM MANAGEMENT menu
2. Select TEAMBUILDER
3. SEARCH SCHOOLS
4. SCHOOL TYPE: FCS
5a.XBOX 360 users only: Go to AUTHOR > SPECIFIC GAMERTAG> Enter my gamertag: Lux21
5b. PS3 users can use all search filters necessary and when you get to the search results screen use the timestamp that is provided in the post# for each team to find that exact team because you WILL NOT see a gamertag(for PS3 users) or a PSN name(for Xbox users).
PS3 users please keep note that if a timestamp is in a central timezone, you will need to adjust based on your timezone to locate teams. Example: If a timestamp is 5:00 PM CENTRAL timezone and you live in EASTERN timezone, then it will show up in your SEARCH RESULTS as 6:00 PM.
6. Once you see the team you want, select it choose either: PREVIEW UNIFORM, PREVIEW ROSTERS, or SAVE SCHOOL.
7. To select the team in PLAY NOW mode, they should be located right before AIR FORCE.

8. For Dynasty Mode, you will need to have the team already downloaded and you will need to replace a FBS school with them and they will assume that slot in that conference unless you want to manually change their conference.


How can I contribute to the FCS Team Directory Project?
You can help contribute in a number of ways.
1. You can provide constructive feedback regarding any of the teams created backed up by some facts or links.
2. You can greatly assist by providing rosters/depth chart info. as many FCS schools do not have information readily available on the internet like a majority of FBS schools.
3. You can even become a team/roster creator BUT YOU MUST FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL GET YOUR TEAM BANNED FROM THE DASHBOARD. NO HOMER-ISM OR FANBOY-ISM!!!!

His FCS All American(1st-4th) teams and specific All Conference(1st and 2nd) teams will greatly aid you in your ratings process as you can identify who the standout players are and rating them accordingly.

FBS references to use for FCS teams:
Roster/Team Data: Overall, Offensive, and Defensive ratings, this is helpful when trying to find the right base roster to use and edit.

Play styles: See which FBS teams to use as your FCS teams' offensive playstyle like the Spread, Pro Style, One Back, Multiple, Pistol, Option,etc

Clothing Brands: This will help you pick a roster of a team that has the brand of clothing(Nike, Adidas, UA, ect) you need to replicate what your FCS team wears in real life. This is really pays off during Intro Run outs, and Photo Mode.

All Team Formations: Each team playbook formations so you can see what formations they have that resembles your FCS team's playstyle.

Pass %'s: Its VERY IMPORTANT to enter this % into teambuilder so they play accurate according to their real pass/run ratio. "It's all about authenticity"

Posting Template(Optional): Also a helpful posting template to use when you have completed a team and are ready for others to review and download it. When you are ready to create a new post, just copy and paste the posting template in the blank field and enter your information in the correct areas.

No, you cannot

Yes and No, you can replace them on the schedule for one of these teams if they are open(which require you having to replace a FBS team with a teambuilder team first) but you cant "remove" those generic teams completely.
