Walk-ons? Seriously?

I just finished recruiting in my fourth off-season at Rice and I had four QBs walk onto my team. I only recruited 12 players because I didn't have many needs and went for quality over quantity. Every walk-on was at least a three-star recruit, so that's nice, but I already had five QBs on my roster and recruited another because he was too enticing (4.56 40, B+ THP, B- THA).

They aren't walk-ons, they are recruits. Recruits committing without an offer has been a problem for a while in this game.

Hmm...recruits going to a school without a scholarship offer from that school...Sounds kind of like a walk on...

I do cut them, but it's still incredibly irritating that they're on my roster in the first place. I didn't recruit them for a reason.

Re: Walk-ons? Seriously?

They are suppose to recruit towards style of team.

Seems like another area that they advertised as fixed, but is still in the game like many other issues.

Even at default, Rice probably coded towards QB's being the most important because of their offense.

What I like to do is lower priority to low across the board, while setting priority for OL to High.

For some reason they've coded OL not to be an Priority eventhough the gameplay functions around them.

I've yet to see a walk-on OL.

This "might" limit your excess QB's.
