MaryLand I HB TOSS

I started off online ranked matches 7-0 i recently faced two opponents that ran a hb toss out of the Maryland I formation nonstop. It didn't matter if I ran 4-3, 46, or a 3-4 my defense could not seal the edge against the formation. I would play zones so my corners would help seal the edge but it never helped I blitzed and than I would just get beat all together. Can someone tell me how I can stop this kind of bull****? And yes I know I can contain the edge with DE but than I totally lost all my man power in the middle of the field and he ran up the middle.

I ran into this last night. 4-4 sets worked sometimes. But nothing out of 4-3 had any luck.

Re: MaryLand I HB TOSS

im amazed at how people find running the same plays the least bit satisfying. i dont understand how you can be proud or feel accomplished when you know you are abusing something and giving no intellectual effort to it. how can 2 numbers (youre record) on a video game leaderboard mean that much to someone? what goes through the persons mind when they win running the same play for hours?

i had the same problem with the mma or ufc games. as soon as a match starts someone would use their 100 rated submission create a player and immediately do submit and chain submit. i played guys where they would literally fire up the game and get online just to press square 100 times or rotate the analog over and over.

i just don get what goes through the mind of these people. how is it fun to waste hours and hours doing the same thing all night just to have people youll never meet look at your fake name on a screen and say wow....he's 12 and 3.

The problem is the DE run blindly into the T and the LB don't flow. It's annoying. A CB blitz would help though.

When playing online, record is all that matters. It's not cheating, you just have to learn how to make the proper adjustments and punish the other player for running the same play.

Re: MaryLand I HB TOSS

This is tricky... I ran into a clown who did this nonstop with Florida, and was successful with it. No matter what I did, he sealed the edge. I tried containing every single person on the field but they'd always get suction blocked directly into the OL. I had to actually run commit left and right in order to stop him. It was pathetic. We really need online user profiles back, because the cheese seems to be getting worse every year.

If you don't want to run commit, I understand, because it's very high risk high reward. Try playing cover 2, and audible your LB/DEs to hit the flats. Press, and user the FS.

Oh, and don't forget to set everything to aggressive. He's a moron, so he'll make a mistake or you'll force a fumble. Then, you better friggin' score, and keep scoring.

yeah bring the profiles back. personally i would just avoid clowns like that. i guess it would be fun to frustrate a cheeser for a little while, but it would get old real fast.
