Possible bug with rush yards and interceptions

I was testing my sliders where I pay close attention to statistics. The CPU quarterback threw an interception to my CB who ran back about 25 yards. When I went to check overall passing statistics for my game I found that the CPU quarterback was listed for -25 rushing yards. The only problem is he had no sacks and had no rushes that I was aware of. Furthermore I couldn't by my personal memory recall seeing him scramble or run even once as this occured on only the 2nd CPU possession. I am going to try to confirm this bug. But I was wondering if anyone else had seen it. If not could someone else set intercpetion to 100 for human and CPU and try to purposefully thorw interceptions in a play now game and then see if the interception yards are recorded as negative rushing yards.

I've never actually looked at the stats, but I have sometimes noticed in RTG for example, if you throw a pick, then you immediately go to SuperSim, it will sometimes show the last play as negative rushing yards.

This happens a lot when the INT is returned for a TD it seems.

Unbelievable. How many more things could they possibly have screwed up that weren't issues last year?

I'm not going to promise that this was never an issue.

I've seen it before I got NCAA12 also.

Like I said, I never noticed it in the end of game stats (never bothered to look), but I would occasionally notice it say something funky like negative yards after an INT or sometimes a punt or fumble, basically... situations which involved change of possession.

Penalties also negate recording of turnovers that shouldn't occur. I've seen more than once now where an interception or fumble is not recorded because there was a penalty AFTER the turnover, usually a clipping call or something. The turnover still occurs, but the game for some reason only records the penalty and no interception/fumble is recorded.

I threw a 34yd TD pass to the back of the endzone and it was ruled incomplete. I challenged the play and it was overturned and ruled a TD. Instead of getting the 34 yard passing TD my QB got 34yds rushing and a rushing TD. The play also didnt show up in the scoring summary or on super sim when i was trying to create a highlight.

Oddly enough, this happened to me today. OU threw a 22 yard TD pass that was ruled incomplete & was overturned (which was BS in & of itself because he was OUT OF BOUNDS!!!!) . When I looked through the scoring summary, saw Landry Jones had a 22 yard rush that I didn't remember.

Your post reminded me of what really happened, because I was drawing a blank.

Stats have been getting messed up due to random things like penalties or turnovers after a turnover (INT a pass, if you fumble it's like nothing happened).

One time I intercepted an option pitch, ran 90+ yards for a TD. Turned out I had a 90+ yard rush on offense lol instead of a fumble return. Silly game.

Can't expect it to be perfect, unfortunately.

Re: Possible bug with rush yards and interceptions

I ran a Motion WR Option where I pitched the ball behind to the WR, he caught it and ran 60 yards for a touchdown.

playlog said my QB threw an incomplete pass.

Stats showed the WR had a 60 yard reception and receiving touchdown and the QB got a 60 yards passing, a PA, PC & TD.

Not game breaking... but when you've got a percy harvin type wideout, you want to see percy harvin type stats...

I've seen this happen 2 or 3 other times, but it does not do it every time.
