Defensive camera flip

Not sure how or why, but sometimes on defense before tje ball is snapped, the camera flips to the defensive side which cause me to start running the opposite direction, is there any way to prevent this?

You might be accidentally pressing the "player lock" button when you try to jump the snap. I think it's L3.

Yeah sounds like you're pushing down on the stick when you're trying to creep up to the line or something. I know when I'm going to blitz and have to pull back, I definitely hit that too and I'm offsides either way! lol

I'll use a different interpretation on your thread's title if you don't mind-- because this is what I thought it was about: Why when you're playing do sometimes you intercept the ball and the camera doesn't freeze and rotate around?? I figured it was when you were head-to-head with another user, but it happened the other day when I was playing the CPU? Is it just random, or does it depend on the matchup/angle, what?

I am just playing vs cpu in my dynasty. It happens when i creep up on the line with a linebacker, it just happened again and flipped on me, which reverses the controls and i ran offsides tryimg to back up, just lost the game because of that call lol..
