so that promise of solid playing time first year on campus, does it apply to redshirt or not?

so if I redshirt the kid, will I break my promise?

yes it will break the promise if u redshirt him during his first year on campus.

Just to add on, he has to be in the first position on the depth chart to get fulfill this promise.

really? what if he is the number 2 rb on the depth chart but splits carries 50/50?

Doesn't matter. Has to be starter.

Actually, #1 on Depth Chart, even if 2 guys start.

thats so dumb. why not make the promise "be a starter first year on campus". solid playing time doesnt imply starter in any way.

If he's getting half the carries why not just have him #1? Not getting your logic here...
