EXTREMELY NEW TO PS3

Will someone please explain to me how to get roster updates directly from playstation once Madden NFL 12 becomes available?

What do I need to do from the PS3 console hooked up to the internet?

I've never done this before and looking forward to it.

sure i can help when u get madden 12 just follow these steps

#1 make sure your signed into the PSN if not one u go online the game will prompt you to sign into the psn

#2 from the main menu of madden 12 click online play

#3 let it sign u into the ea servers then go to play now then it will prompt u to download the roster update but be sure to back out if you do not want to play online just hit the circle button and it will ask u if u want to back after after saving the rosters select yes if u do

note: also u do not really need to go you can also go the online depth chart section of madden 12 and it will prompt u there as well

please note: i am basing this info from madden 10 and madden 11 but this is the way it was done in madden 10 and madden 11 but madden 12 might be alittle different allthough highly unlikey we won't know until we get the game

assuming its the same then this is how u would do it but if its different this year i'll try to update this thread with new intructions once i get the game

all you need is to sign up with EASports for an EASports account.

If you don't have one, when you first boot up the game (signed into PSN) you will be prompted to do so. Follow their instructions and you'll have an account and then you'll have access to all online features such as the rosters.

Remember that due to the 'online pass' (smh) you will need to get the code and enter it wherever they ask you to, and the code is usually on the back of the instruction manual of the game. DO NOT pay for one thinking you do not have one! If you don't and you got the game new, call or E-Mail EA and complain. They will sort you out within a day or two and you won't waste money.
