Why is Buckeye / Gator roster thread locked?

I don't understand why this thread was locked. I thought we had a nice convo going about team rosters, changes and everything else.

What is the criteria used to justify locking a thread?

buckeye said he would start a new thread when the roster is ready to upload and for the rest of us to download

Because people kept asking when the rosters would be done instead of just waiting patiently for buckeye to finish them. He gave a timeframe of when he thought they would be done and people still kept asking.

Oh ok, yeah people asking the same thing over and over again does get pretty annoying... I must have missed when Buckeye posted that.

That's what I absolutely can't stand about this website. The mods lock anything and everything... WHO CARES if it strays off topic or people keep asking the same question? IF there are people posting in a thread then OBVIOUSLY there is still room for discussion. The best message boards are the least moderated message boards, hell, the best anything is the least regulated.

And yes, I'm positive this thread will be locked and there is a chance I'll be banned for a lifetime. Oh well.
