As offensive coordinator why cant i kick field goals?

I just lost a close game in dynasty mode because it wouldn't let me kick field goal when there was 3 secs left and I was on opponents 3 yard line on 4th down. Its ruining game for me, also won't let me kick pats.

Special teams coach handles that.

Why would the special teams coach or head coach choose to lose the game? The only option I had was to go for it on 4th down at the 3 yard line with 3 secs left THE GAME WAS TIED ...WTF WTF!!!!!

It's obviously a problem if he's on the 3 and the team doesn't try to kick the game winning FG.

Man that sucks. So far the field goal logic has been pretty good for me. I do wish we got the opportunity to choose whether or not to kick it on 4th, but I guess that's just more incentive to land a job as a head coach.

Maybe the kicker has a poor percentage in short field goals and the ol' ball coach thought it'd be a miss. Who knows.
