New Blocking animation: A new layer of excitement

I would love to see a new addition to the blocking game. When the ball carrier springs free on a long run the blockers that are in front of him currently just put their head down and head for pay dirt as well.

This will often lead to the ball carrier being caught from behind (especially backs that are built for power).

I would love to see a system put in place where those blockers out in front swivel around and look for a defender to slow down (or absolutely de-cleat).

It could be set up where most of the time the blocker will only get a piece of the defender to slow him down. It could also have some big nasty big-hit style blocks put in place to spice things up.

Anyone care to expand on the idea? (or absolutely shoot it down lol)

Ummm......I see my WRs turn around and block defenders chasing me. Maybe you need to lower your speed threshold.
