Momentum or super comebacks in user vs. user?
So yesterday my friend and I played 5 games total. Various teams, offensive styles etc. Kept weather all dry so no weather could be a variable. In 5 games we have these results
Wisconsin vs. OSU: he made a 20 point comeback in the final couple mins, but still lost. Point of is my guys couldn't cover or tackle during this.
Va Tech vs. South Carolina: I was down 24-0 going into the 4th. Came back to 24-17 before throwing a pick. Point of this one is his oline just manhandled me the first half and my O was non existent. Second half the whole game was reversed.
Mich St. vs. Notre Dame: Another game I was down and his O line was killing me the first half. I was down like 10 points, but same issues of couldn't cover, no rush. Second half his line couldn't block and my team dominated the second.
WVU vs. Houston Finally this is what made us scratch our heads. He was up 31-7 going to half. I was getting demolished by every single play. No rush, no coverage, nothing on O. Second half comes and I make this massive comeback. I'm down by 10 with a min left he fumbles, I score next play. The onside kick should not have worked yet somehow did and the next play I score to win. Geno bounced off of 5 tackles and the 6th tackle knocked him in the endzone. His players couldn't tackle, no coverage, no rush on D. Keenum overthrew everything even with no pressure.
So my question is, is anyone else having such issues of super comebacks or just total domination one half then nothing goes right the second? Or is this a momentum system and at halftime the players get a chance to catch their breath and regroup? I'm really curious if others are having games anywhere like this.
