How does someone go about doing this? I would be willing to do it, but have no idea where to start, LOL.

You need a transfer kit for the 360 and xport360. It's basically as simple as just dragging it to your desktop. Not quite sure of the process for the ps3.

For the 360, the update is located in Partition3/cache. Not sure how ya know which update is which.
