I just played a 5 overtime thriller against a friend of mine yesterday that was the longest basketball match I've played. It was Memphis vs New York with Gay and Melo dropping 3pt bombs several times to extend the game. I ended up winning in the 5th overtime..just too much Gasol and Randolph. What's the longest game you've played...it doesn't have to be 2k either.

I went into 4 overtimes with the Knicks's (me) vs Celtics (cpu). That was the longest match I've ever played but Billups came through for me in the end and I won by 7. Oh... by the way, Melo wasn't even the line-up. He was out due to backs spasms for 1-2 weeks.

I've never stretched past triple overtime. It happened with the '97 Timberwolves against the '97 Jazz I think. Stephon Marbury, Kevin Garnett, and Tom Gugliotta all scored at least 30 points. Googs had the game winning dunk with two seconds remaining in the third overtime.

mine was 16 overtimes. it was me using lal vs the computer using chicago bulls. the final score was 600-603. Kobe scoring 420 points.After the game, i went to sleep immediately

If this actually happened, I wouldn't play any NBA games for a few days after that lol.

I went into 3 OT's with the Thunder at LA Lakers. I basically hit a game tying three with Jeff Green, and then Russell Westbrooke got a steal but missed the layup (at the end of the OT) but Thabeet came out of nowhere and put it back in. And KD nailed a three from half court. Lost 135-129 though

Danny Granger went nuts. I was annoyed! He. would. not. miss.

Great game, though. Pretty exhausted after that one, believe it or not.
