Madden 12 'Foot-Planting'

Just to clarify, my goal of this thread is NOT to bash EA, but to ask a question to OS members.

I've heard about 50 different sources, telling me that 'foot-planting' is present in Madden 12, and another 50 telling me It's not. This might honestly might affect my decision to by the game, so I ask to you guys: is it in the game?

if it's like 11..then sort of....when players use juke moves then yes..and some route running u can also see foot plants/leaning

Yup on routes I've seen that in 11...

No, foot planting isn't in the game. As stated above, there are animations where it appears the players are planting their feet such as juke moves and receiver breaks but as you have seen in your video, there is no actual footplanting needed to change direction. They just swivel like they are on a lazy susan.

I saw that. Honestly, I think if they took EVERYTHING they added from 11 to 12, put that all in 13, then work on the gameplay/ foot planting, that would be the perfect game for me.

This and a few other issues are whats keeping me from dropping full price for this game. I'll pick up a used copy a few months after release. It does appear that this new dev team is headed in the right direction though. 2014 might be the year of a true return to form for this franchise.

If the player is running a canned animation, you'll see planting in proper fashion. If you're actively controlling that player, it's real hit/miss.
