when they say, "the greatest" is this talking about the greatest game or mj? or other greats? or does no-one know.

If you're just talking about the teaser, your guess is as good as anyone's (except the devs who sometimes stop by). I will guess that they're just talking about the greatest game because of how often they tote the "greatest sports game ever" reviews.

I think they were saying "the greatest" as in the greatest teams and players. I'm pretty sure that teaser was released around the time of the Finals, and it showed a bunch of players like Rose, Kobe, KG, Chris Paul, and others whose teams had been eliminated, implying that those guys would be back next year with a vengeance.

I agree with this, though that is not the intent of the teaser since Dwyane Wade was in the commercial though Miami was still in the playoffs. I agree that it would be more the premise of the game -- return of the great game and great players, etc.
