2000's Draft Classes

I downloaded Portland Blazer's 99-00 roster file and I freakin love it. But there are no good draft classes out there for 2000 year.
So Im going to re-create 2000-2003's draft class for people like me who want some decent classes.

Some outlines
- There will be roughly 25-30 players in each class.
- Only players who 200ish games are in, give or take ( Yes Jay Williams will be in the 2002 class, Injured players who were good are in)
- Faces will be kind of like what they look like, unless there is something at auto populates it so i can use a current fact for players in the game
- its 360 only
- i will try and get all the right signature moves done too.

Re: 2000's Draft Classes

it may be possible through hex editing or the reditor to copy and paste a player models id into a draft class. so you wouldnt have to remake players who are already in the game or are hidden legends or have a cap on 2kshare. im in the process of figuring some things out along these same lines and if its figured out for draft classes i could possibly work on some draft classes from 80s n 90s to go with me and mks rosters. this would of course have to happen after i "redit" all my historic rosters first.

That would be great if that were possible, because having real retro draft classes to use with the retro rosters in Association mode really adds to the authenticity and fun factor...I have done draft classes for 1988-1991, but it would be great to use your and mkharsh33's CAP's to fill up the draft classes. I don't have the time or expertise that you guys have put into your great roster sets, but since no one else seemed to be doing retro draft classes, I tried to fill that void...It's too bad that they didn't transfer into draft classes "in game", but maybe hex edits or the new editor will make it possible...Do you guys plan on doing all of these rosters all over again for 2K12? Personally, I don't think I will need to buy another basketball game for years, with all of the great retro rosters you've made...

Re: 2000's Draft Classes

as of right now im not planning on buying 2k12. i have been doing these historic rosters every year since 2k1 on dreamcast. every year it gets more intricate and time consuming, i dont see myself doing it all over again unless 2k12 provides something far better than what i have now to work with. im not ruling out getting 2k12 or eventually doing some sort of roster editing with it but 2k11 will be a keeper and i may continue to work on rosters for it going forward through 2k13/14 and beyond, who knows.

I totally understand that...With all of the retro rosters we have, I could literally play this game for years...I've been playing basketball games since Double Dribble on the NES, and I've waited years to play a quality game, with a good "dynasty" mode, using the teams of the 80's and 90's that I grew up with...Thanks to you and mkharsh33 for making that a reality! I was wondering if you thought it could be possible, either with hex editing or possibly the reditor, to change the number of teams in the association mode so that you wouldn't have to fill it up with teams that didn't play back then...I would like to play your 86-87 roster in Association mode with the 23 or so teams there were back then, without any "filler" teams...I hadn't seen anything about that possibility, so I was curious if you thought it was possible down the line?

^ i doubt its possible but i know nothing about programming so im not the one to ask. scheduling would be the main hurdle i suppose, then draft order, im sure a lot of things would have to be done.
