Recruiting Question

Has it been said yet if it's going to be exactly like last year? Meaning, are all the five stars going to only have interest in the same 5 to 10 schools because they have the highest prestige?

And is school prestige basically still going to be the only factor in where the higher rated recruits are interested in going?

Just thought this brought a massive lack of depth to recruiting last year, and last years game had by far the worst recruiting logic in the games history.

From what I remember (and someone correct me if I'm wrong) they said that recruiting logic was overhauled but that it would be the same system.

I remember them saying that sway pitch and recruit against would be much more effective and that the CPU would recruit for their system.

Yeah, all iv'e heard was that teams would now recruit for their system. I expect the same teams to be on top all the time once again.

dang i just wanna see a few 4* or a5* pick a small school every once in awhile because the coach is really good or they dont want to move away from home

This is the exact reason I miss recruiting on the PS2 days, being able to snag that 5* recruit because he was close to your school and staying at home was important to him.

"If" and thats a big if, the recruit against works as its supposed to, it should make it possible again to steal a recruit for a smaller school. If a recruit is big on playing time & close to home, a smaller school, who is close to the recruit, should have a real chance to win out over big schools with talented players who are further away. Lets just hope the improvement works.

All this would only work IF you're somehow able to sneak into their top 10, otherwise it's a moot point.

The same schools being on top of the recruiting rankings doesn't bother me because that is how it is in real life. 5 stars don't go to Boise or Miss State. I can only think of 3 who have gone to Va Tech in the last 15 years. Every year you are, for the most part, looking at Bama, Auburn, FSU, Florida, UGA, USC, Texas, OU, tOSU, LSU and then a few other schools pulling in the top classes.
