Check out Notre Dame on the far left. Can see that they have 5 stars out of 6 now probably due to lackluster seasons the last few years (no BCS wins, terrible in bowl games in BCS era, mediocre seasons). They used to be 6 stars based on their tradition and this is the first year that they have been downgraded.

Makes you wonder where Michigan stands as well with their decline.

Honestly, they should have been a 5* this whole time. They haven't done anything spectacular in ages.

I wouldn't necessarily say that about Notre Dame. 2005-2006 saved them a bit, but since then, they've earned those 5 stars easily. 07-10 was their first streak of 4 years where they didn't have at least a 9 win season. They've been borderline and that finally did it. Michigan, though, I don't know why they dropped so fast. They were fine until the last couple years. I'd have given Michigan one more year. If they only won 6 or 7 games max, they'd drop.

Haha now that I see what you did there, I would say both. Rich Rod screwed up the Wolverines more than a coach should be allowed to screw up any team. Period. And App State would be a 6* FCS program, which should translate over to a 3* FBS school. No hard feelings for an impressive upset and historic game
