8min play time vs 12min sim time

Will my 8minute play time equal a 12 min sim time for the CPU games? Stats wise?
Loving the game by the way.
I'm a 6'6" PG for the Timberwolves. Got drafted 15th in the 2nd round.
They just accepted me on their NBA team after the summer curcuit.
I'm doing decent with my Defensive Rebounds and I'm averaging barely under a double double, Just having trouble hitting contested shots...even layups.
I'm on All-Star difficulty.

im not sure if your talking personal stats or like the teams score. on 8 minutes you stats will be about like the CPU 12 minute stats. but the end score of the game will be more like te 60-70 pt range, maybe less. i recommend 10 minute play, 12 minute sim.

I play on 8 minute quarters, and average final scores in the 70's.

I would set the sim quarter length to 9 or maybe 10 at the most...unless you're putting up unusually high stats on 8 min quarters.

12 minute games is the way to go. I use the Heat, and all my stats are pretty close to my players avg. Just use your bench like in real life and give your starters a rest from time to time, and you'll be fine. Also run plays and use the shot clock. Right now in my association, Labron 30pts., 8 rebounds, 7 ast. Wade 28.2 pts., 6 reb, 5 ast, 1.7 blocks. Bosh 16 pts, 8 reb. That's my average, not every game. sometimes higher and some times lower. My average final score is about 109. I have had lower scores, somewhere around the mid 80's to about 116. Depending on who i'm playing agaist, injuries foul trouble, or players just having a bad game.
