Sad story - Gator great Danny Wuerffel hospitalized with serious illness

Watched Danny play since he was in high school and have loved him from day one...sad story and I will be praying for a recovery:

Pretty rare illness and hopefully he fully recovers.

A friend of mine had GBS a several years ago and it was very scary.

If I remember correctly, some doctors came together and said that this disease was the same that affected President Roosevelt (and not polio as earlier thought). Hopefully he can kick this disease.

I had this when I was a kid, I was totally paralyzed for weeks and couldn't even breathe on my own for 6 weeks or so. It was a year before I could walk again. Even 20 years later I still have a few lasting affects but nothing serious, mainly just in my feet which didn't return fully like everything else did, but it hasn't stopped me from doing much in life.

Hopefully Danny makes a full recovery!

Wow, it's scary enough when you're adult to have a something like this happen, I can't imagine going through it as a child.
