If I take a conference that has 6-7 bowl game tie-ins and I reduce that conference to only 4 or 5 teams, does that mean that every team then goes to a bowl game regardless of record? Not sure how that will work

A team still has to be bowl eligible to make a bowl (at least a .500 record). Most of us believe that will be true in the game, as it's an NCAA rule. Never know til we see it though.
