yes he can. Over time the more he come up in the clutch he will eventually get the trait. You can always go and mess with the traits yourself if you want.

No. LeBron James will never be clutch...

Kidding lol. I just couldn't resist.

But it is a good question and I am happy that they can develop.

This rating doesn't mean a thing. All the players that are listed as clutch so far:

Chris Johnson
Anquan Boldin
Finnegan
Lynch
Mike Williams (TB),
MJD
Big Ben
Gates
D. Hall
Brees
Harrison
Freeman
J. Jones (rookie)
Green (rookie)
Mike Williams (Sea)
P. Manning
TJ Ward
Polamalu
McCourty
Revis
Jennings
Nicks
Brady
Sam Bradford
Rivers
Ingram (rookie)
Brandon Marshall
D. Ware
Brian Urlacher
Randy Moss
Matt Ryan
Adrian Peterson
Ray Lewis
Peyton Hillis
Aaron Rodgers
Earl Thomas
Calvin Johnson
Larry Fitzgerald

Yes, three rookies are already clutch without stepping foot on the field.

Re: can a non-Clutch player get Clutch status over time?

My clutch players:

Peyton Manning
Tom Brady
Drew Brees
Aaron Rodgers
Big Ben
Josh Freeman
Santonio Holmes
Andre Johnson
Devon Bess
Hines Ward
Jason Avant
Ray Lewis
Troy Polamalu
Ed Reed
Charles Woodson
Adam Vinatieri

Questionable:

Eli Manning
Matt Ryan
Desean Jackson
Tony Gonzalez

Remember: This isn't for the best players, but players that play the best in big moments. For playing the best in the big games IE the playoffs, there is another role for that.

Any others you would like to add to this list?

Completely forgot about Vinatieri. Not sure on the other two. Although no doubt Hines Ward and Ray Lewis are playoff performers. Not sure they play their absolute best at end of games.

You gotta be kidding me? If Ben needs a first down, he goes to Hines Ward. Hines is, and always has been, Ben's go-to guy.

And there's not a better definition of clutch than this Ray Lewis tackle
