Disappointing Superstar News (Automatic Starter)

So, Frazier just said at E3 that when you make a player in superstar mode and get drafted that you automatically become the starter.

Very disappointing.
They are the only BAP mode that doesnt allow you to fight for the starting job. I still might play this mode, but I definitely will not strart from scratch, I will only import from RTG

How is this disappointing news? This is great news. I should be starting. I don't need to be sitting on the bench. That's for losers.

But it's unrealistic to expect to start as an UDFA or low round draft pick with an OVR in the 60's.

The name of the mode does lead to your kind of thinking; Superstar mode. I feel the game mode should accurately model a career path of a player in the NFL. It should have multiple options depending on how you want to play the game.

If you want to come in as a day one starter, hit the ground running, I made the Pro Bowl as a rookie type of player, fine.

Me, I'd rather work for the job. Put in the hours, learn from the veterans who are ahead of me on the depth chart. Maybe spend a year on the practice squad and then get worked in slowly.

The game should have more options just to give us that extra level of detail. So you can make the choice of picking the easy high OVR, sure thing for the HOF player; Or the type who will live forever in the memory of true fans, but never reach a Pro Bowl and might just hope to see his jersey hanging from the rafters.

When I import my RTG player, hopefully I have a OVR between 70-80. But I definitely wont play for a team that has a player of my position with a OVR higher than mine

Yep. Save before draft, and run the draft until I get picked by a team that needs me.

That is what I plan to do. I want to hear about how high you can be drafted.
I love the changes we seen for RTG so far(cant wait for more). and I like the changes to SS. I feel RTG has way more depth and is the superior mode. But I like the addition of hearing your coordinator. I hope we see pre-game intros.
I want to see changes to camera angles in both modes

This is an amusing post. So I guess Aaron Rogers was a loser all those years that he was learning from Favre while riding the bench?
