Everyone always talks about the past games being better or best, which game was the best so far?

This one is easy for me, Madden 2004 (Vick on the cover). Loved the franchise mode, the soundtrack, and all the little things you could do. Probably have more hours into that game than any other.

NCAA 06 was my favorite football game in general of all time though.

Madden 2004, I played that game from release until Christmas when I got Madden 06. By far the most time I've ever put into a game outside of World of Warcraft.

It's tough for me to choose between Madden 2005 and Madden 2007 (XBOX Original). Madden 2007 was an improved version of 2005, but 2005 has a certain charm to it, due in part to the season it came out. I'm playing Madden 2005 right now and it's a blast to just play pre-season because of position battles.

Madden 2003-2005 for the PS2 was the Golden Years. It was decent before then, but those years it was immortal and I played it until parents, roomates, girlfriends said it was ridiculous. Remember how the players all looked so realistic (close to MLB the Show's realistic animations - rather than these boxy, boring players on these next gen systems.) remember the drafts? The performance based progression? The random weather. Finding gems in the draft. A million possibilities for facial likeness for draft picks instead of the same 8 guys... Ill always have the memories

The best madden I ever loved was madden07 ps2. I don't remember who was on the cover tho. But what I most loved about madden 07 ps was the deep franchise mode. Which owners mode within it aswell along with the weekly radio show and the newspaper and so on. One of the best madden I ever played in my life. I'm really hoping madden12 will out do madden 07 this coming year in franchise mode offline.

Sorry guys I don't mean to be going off topic, but I just have a question about the ps2 and xbox versions. Did any of them have the expansion team feature in franchise mode or owner mode?
