Remove this catching animation from Madden 12

I am sure everyone knows which animation I am referring to. Have you ever had your receiver beat the CB by a few yards on a Fly/Go Route, the QB lobs it to the receiver, who sorta stops, and hops with his outstreched arms, catching the ball and giving the defender enough time to tackle you and prevent a TD? I wish I had video footage of this particular animation to show as an example.

No, it's off of two legs, and the receiver streches his arms out in front of him to catch the ball. It usually occurs when I am running a Fly/Go Route with smaller speedsters such as DeSean Jackson, Devery Henderson, Devin Hester, etc. It is a very stiff animation, and it is hard to catch in stride when this animation occurs.

Where he kind of turns towards the qb, leaps, stretches out and catches it when you know he could have caught it in stride?

The receiver's back is facing the QB. I am sure that someone has a clip of this particular animation somewhere.

I think they need to remove a majority of the catch animations.

I think they need to remove a majority of all animations. They're either good looking animations hurt by twitches, or smooth animations that don't really represent the sport correctly.

Plus I hate it when you see it coming and you know theres nothing to do. Wish they strip all those animations and just use the locomotion system as a base. Just hate it when you get pulled into an animation and all you can do is watch.

Could go a year without anything fancy after so many times seeing a receiver about to make a catch, then you see which animation is about to happen and you just say to yourself "oh no don't catch it on the run, please hop in the air and let the CB catch up and take you out, cause you know you want to make a seemingly perfectly simple catch very flashy and hard and probably cause the ball to get knocked loose and some unsuspecting safety who had his back turned to the qb decided to spontaneously turn around and be right there for the deflected pass and interception... "
