Free Agent Script NOT coming back??? Come On 2K.....

Can someone PLEASE explain why the FA script is gone? I mean have we completely stop caring about us online league players? Come on 2K.....please dont turn into who I think you are turning into.

But thats such a lame excuse. Just make it so you have to release a player to get a player. So now EVERYONE has to be punished because of some bad leagues? Hell shut their leagues down, but dont take away a needed functionality.

2K has given the middle finger to league players yet another time. Won't change probably because we can't do anything about it.

correct me if i'm wrong but only league admins can use it right? so if a league admin is abusing it then just leave the league. it must've been doing something else to cause their systems to break.

I think you're missing the point. They took the feature out because they claimed it hurt the servers. The problem is that the servers were "hurt" before FA Script showed up as well as the last month since they took it out. So it clearly was not the FA's that made their servers as poor as they've been.

They added in a feature for league admins to FIX the problems of having too many players on a team but didn't bother to tell anyone why it was there or how it was going to be useful to them... they then took that option out and a few weeks later took EVERYTHING out.

This decision killed almost every league that has innovated and created online franchise-type leagues or just a sim league with realistic signings and trades. They took a big step back to where online leagues were 5 years ago and are destined to keep going backward without any innovation.

FooFighter you said this perfectly. 2K always talks about how they are active on the boards, listen to gamers, wants us to have the best experience, etc......but their actions don't seem to dictate that.

I agree, it's a bad decision. But the league I'm in has and will continue to be running smoothly.

Fortunately, 2K's online isn't unbearable this year..
