Braves and Gold Gloves

Does anybody else find it weird that the Atlanta Braves players always win Gold Gloves.

When the game decides it, it picks the player with the highest fielding percentage, starting with the first team in alphabetical order in the NL East or AL East. Thus a lot of gold glove winners will be Braves and Orioles (Atlanta and Baltimore).

That's dumb and should have been fixed a long time ago.

Yeah, it's been that way for years now. What's sad is that it really isn't much worse than the way some of the managers and coaches decide on the winners in real life.

I was going to ask about this...

I had the same conclusions (Braves and Orioles) always seem to win the GG's. Then I had a few years, same fielding %, but I had more POs and ASTs, and yet Markakis got the GG over Byron Buxton (Twins).

Then it also seems to default to the AL East and NL East...
