Need a nice rebuild

I'm a Mets fan but I'm looking for a good team to build with in The Show. Many would say the Mets are that team but I find myself getting too emotional involved with them in the game just like in real-life. Any suggestions for a fixer-upper?

Kansas City, Cleveland, Arizona, Florida, Baltimore... there are some good ones out there to look at.

Re: Need a nice rebuild

Slightly off topic, but I have been searching for any type of tips for successful rebuilding in The Show. Seems like this isn't a topic of concern for many. Perhaps this might be a good location for some of those that are interested in this topic.

Specifically, I have been wondering(and testing, slightly) the affects that the different levels (A, AA, AAA, MLB) have on progression. Granted, I understand their are a lot of factors at work here. But, generally speaking, will a player reach their peak ratings more quickly if they spend minimal time(3 or less years) in the minor league system, or will they reach it more quickly if you get them up to the major league club ASAP?

Idealy, from my research you want a player to have about three years in the minors (or to age 23 or 24) preferably getting some playing time in AAA because the progression isn't as good in A and in AA you really don't let them see MLB quality pitching. If you want to go by ratings a D with A pot should be in double A start or AAA bench whereas a low C with A pot should start in AAA until they become a high C or low B when they should be brought up to MLB. If they are 25 and still in the minors they are only worth trading.

Re: Need a nice rebuild

use the Padres

Great young ace in Mat Latos with a great bullpen.

Young arms in the minors, Casey Kelly, Simon Castro, Matt Lollis, as well as Corey Luebke.

Young batters that are MLB ready such as Anthony Rizzo and Kyle Blanks.

Then further down the line you have Donovan Tate, Reymond Fuentes and Jaff Decker as well

great ballpark too

Other milb players worth noting

Logan Forsythe, Keyvius Sampson, Everette Williams, Jedd Gyorko, James Darnell

Re: Need a nice rebuild

AL: Baltimore (good lineup, young arms), Kansas City (ton of talent in the minors that should blossom into solid MLB talent in 1-3 years), Seattle (King Felix and Ichiro but need a ton of help)

NL: Mets (I hear you about being personally invested), Washington (although you'd have to play the Mets a lot), Pirates (a lot of young talent), Houston, Arizona and San Diego.

Those are going to be your best bets.

Personally I'd go with either San Diego or Seattle; I've been to both stadiums so I'm a little biased, but I think you would enjoy playing in either setting.

Re: Need a nice rebuild

best rebuild for a fire sale? as in it wouldn't be too odd for me to deal people away.
