Pitching Energy, and Snap Throws

Hello,

I was just wondering about a couple of things:

1. Does the stamina of starting pitchers improve during the season? I mean in the first week or so the commentary points out how pitch counts really matter, especially in the first couple of weeks in the season. Also I am averaging 60-70 pitches before I have to yank the guy, I even pumped up the stamina slider. I use "classic" pitching, and I release the pitch at the peak of the knee raise.

2. Can you do snap throws from the catcher after a pitch? I only ask because they caught a player in the game I am watching right now... and so I was curious if that is actually in the game.

Thanks

You can do snap throws. I have only played on analog throwing, but after throwing the pitch, if you hold the right stick to the right (first base) the catcher will do a snap throw. I'm sure it would work if you are using button throws as well.

I'm not sure about question number one.

You CAN do snap throws but be careful with them. There's a bug that if you do it on certain speedy/high base running ability guys they will just run to 2nd base and the game won't allow you to throw over there with your 1B. It auto cuts back to the pitcher and you'll see the guy getting to 2nd base in the background.
