What to do in Clutch Time?

Man i seem to always lose my games on 1-2 points, cause I can't score when there are only 10 seconds left in the game. I never know what to do and most of the time I end up shooting a desperation three. (Somehow like the Miami Heat )

Re: What to do in Clutch Time?

my go to plays at the end are isolation and pick and roll

it depends on what team i'm playing as really. if i've got someone who can beat people off the dribble and hit a pull up J then ill do the iso.

if i have a good big man and dont want to just let him work in the post, i'll run the pick n' roll and see what opens up for the final shot

Re: What to do in Clutch Time?

well i usually give it to a good range shooter that isnt my star. Example if I'm using the Lakers and Kobe is getting covered by 2 people and gasol is also getting defended hard Artest would usually be wide open so I'd try to get it to him.

Also don't panic. I've seen many people online with 10 seconds left try to cross me over with Lebron or try to get me to bite with a pump fake. Doesn't work so they throw up a terrible shot and lose. You don't always have to go with your star to win.

This is true, I have had Thabo Sefolosha hit a game winning 3 in a ranked match.

Re: What to do in Clutch Time?

I usually go to my star players and call a play for him...only to pass it off to one my good utility players to make the wide open shot or layup/dunk .

It works for me and it's nice teamwork
