To use caddie or not to use

Hey guys, just got the game. Only played a couple of rounds. Do you guys use the caddie or do you shut it comletely off? I didn't like the caddie it felt kindof cheap having the caddie set up everthing for me. So if you guys use it how do you use it and make the game challenging?

Also, can you import a golfer from TW 11 and if so how?

Thanks guys!

I don't use it...it's just not Tiger to me. I will however look at the percentage if I'm in the sand or deep rough....which I wish I couldn't, especially when I'm playing multiplayer. It seems ridiculous to me that you can't completely turn off the caddy - especially on multiplayer but that wasn't really your question.

When you use the caddie guy and say you choose the agressive shot and go for the sick, can you zoom in where the shot is projected to go or can you only do this in custom shot?

Yes, push up on the left stick before addressing the ball. Also, while in this view clicking the left stick will zoom in/out.

I had a few instances where I used the caddies advice and I ended up in a bad situation my next shot. I use him but if I can use a custom shot I will always go that route as my 1st option.

Caddy sucks. I turned off the audio but I still see him and his shots options are there. The thing is, we should be able to customize our caddy and how much advice we get from him. The golfer caddy relationship is an intimate one and we're just randomly supplied with some annoying schmuck.

You should be able to select from a list of available caddies at the beginning of the game. Different styles and personalities. Then you can stick with that caddy as he learns your game or you can ditch him as you level up and acquire a more experienced caddy.
