Skipping Spring Training and Rosters

With the new rosters and 30 team control, what are the steps in making sure the CPU doesn't ruin the accurate Full Minors rosters for the start of the season? Thanks for the refresher guys!!

Im wondering the exact same thing. Its not cool seeing all the effort by those guys setting the lineups and pitching rotations go down the drain when you finsih spring training. Does controling all 30 teams prevent this?

It's not that simple, I read in the OSFM recruiting post the additional steps but I'm mind blanking right now.

Re: Skipping Spring Training and Rosters

Ok, I found this from Knight in the recruiting post when someone asked the same question:

If you're going to control just one team...you're kind of at the mercy of the CPU for the other teams.
If you control all 30 teams....you could do it one of three ways.
All three would require you to have lineups/rotations on MANUAL
1. Wait until Spring Training is over and redo all the lineups rotations....
2. PRE-franchise cut the 40 man rosters to the 25 man MLB rosters....wait until the first day of the regular season and then add the other 15 players for each team
3. Last day of Spring Training....move the 15 players not on the MLB roster down to the minors...

More work to be done! lol

Thanks for finding and posting that. Now do all of the other teams rosters get messed up tho? Or are they able to stay the same uneffected by the computer?

Each step requires you to do it for each team, if I'm reading that right.
