You guys still shooting in the 50s???

(I don't have this game yet, so I'm asking those that do)

I've always had an issue with the scoring in the Tiger games. -22 at a US Open is just ludicrous. Shouldn't happen. Ever.

That should be something a tester should see and immediately say, "Hey, we need to fix this." It's just baffling why that doesn't happen. I would LOVE to have an actual conversation with a developer and ask why this is... (shrug)

Let's pretend we're the developer. How would YOU fix this? How do you make it "harder" ?

My main fix/suggestion is to MAKE THE ROUGH MORE PUNISHING. And the way to do that is to make the results out of the rough random!!! (You know - like real life)

Sometimes (in real life) when you're in the rough, the ball will go left, or go right, or jump farther, or end up way shorter... And this is proportional depending on how deep in the rough you are. THAT is what they need to add in the game.

The way it is now (unless TW12 fixed it) is a joke, you just add the appropriate extra distance and there's no discernible penalty. Fu&($% ridiculous.

What else could we do to "fix" the Tiger games?

Play on tournament difficulty and see how many 50s you shoot. Played a daily tourney online last night on tourney diff w/ my created guy and shot +19. And the scoring sliders make it so you can finally tune CPU scoring to your liking.

yea. the game is harder and more sim. Tuning AI scoring is a great addition for the sim aspect. play on tour difficulty and im sure you wont even see many low 60s, albeit 50's.

This. My best round yesterday was a +5. (360, controller, Tournament Difficulty).

And TW11 was challenging too.

I'm shooting realistically on TOUR Pro setting, my best being -2 with my created golfer.


However in the online tournaments I am seeing -25's in first place all the way down to T18

are you guys putting a cap on your attributes? I do not want to do like my son does and max out everything. I want to be able to shoot a 64 as well as an 84.

Yesterday with my created golfer I only got a +10 in a tournament.
