def. assist button

does anyone use this it really works (x on the PS3) my buddy loves throwing to the TE across the middle of the field, so i started to manually cover the TE and i have taken away a big part of his offense. jus wanted to know if anyone else uses this.

Re: def. assist button

It turns the control over to the CPU while you remain on the player.

I could see it being useful in letting the CPU handle the man coverage and being able to get control quicker than switching to try to pick/swat the pass.

I prefer to just play a zone cover S or LB to cover the middle of the field manually.

Re: def. assist button

it really helps with trying to pick passes off when you switch to the CB. It allows the CB to get into the right spot before you hit the Y button (onxbox)

Never used it, no desire to use it. Same thing with auto strafe, don't use it. I like to manually control everything.

REALLY!?!?!?!? What about on Madden?

I wonder how many of us gamers actually use this button?
