Stadiums

I think the graphics look great in rain but I wish we could choose weather to have the roof's of the domed stadiums open or closed.

Re: Stadiums

The devs explained last year that they would have to create two models for each domed stadium (the current open roof models and a new closed roof model) to make that work. I would suspect that this is on the shortlist of the things they want to implement in the game, seeing as this community's asked for this for a couple of years now. Hope this helps to answer your question. (I want this too. It's hard to play at Arizona without the rof cloaed in a day game.)

Re: Stadiums

I know, but if they can do it in Madden then can do it in this game too. I agree its not the most important thing to improve on, but still it would be nice.

Re: Stadiums

The only real issue I have with the stadiums is the hit and miss grass texture quality.

For example: The grass at the Astros stadium and some Spring training fields look immaculate but the Pirates and most others look to be lower quality.

It probably has to do with the FPS..

All the retractable roof stadiums have an open or closed choice. Let's see if I can name them all: Dallas, Houston, Arizona, and Indy.

Arizona in football has a retractable field not roof. The field literally rolls out of the end of the stadium.

The football stadiums are far less complex, and in Madden do far less what this game does.

Not saying they wont eventually do it, but the task with lighting, ambiance, design, etc etc is apples to oranges between the two games. Especially "cookie cutter" football stadiums.
