batting position on analog

Ok, so you use the R analog to swing inside or outside by pushing to the left or right. However, did you guys find anything out as far as the height of the bat??? One guy said that it's based on your timing...is this true??

What have you guys found out?

Thanks!

No, you use the L analog left or right and the R up and down to hit.

I'm not sure u get what I'm asking....if a pitch is high in the zone, how do u swing up in the zone as opposed to swinging down in the zone when a pitch is low???

And you don't use the L analog at all from what I've heard or experienced.

I'm playing on Legend...what level are u talking bout? R u using the pure analog swing system??

Um, yea, that's wrong. The left stick doesnt' move the PCI in analog mode.

As for the OP, I thought the high/low swing was influenced by the batters attributes.

huh...haven't heard that yet. Not sure tho...that's why I'm asking. nonetheless, it sounds like it's not manually done by us by doing something with the controller

You were right the left analog stick doesn't influence anything it's the right stick. I figured that out on swing analysis So that brings me to the question as to how do you hit the low inside or outside pitch. The analog hitting is getting into my head. I was pretty good at it on MVP 05.

Luck...which is why my RTTS in AAA is only hitting .220 after starting .450...everything is a fly out right now. In my case I need to build up his vision and discipline stats.

Would love to hear an answer to this. That's why I'm enjoying the analog mode for hitting so far...I feel like I'm allowed to swing inside and outside but not up and down. Don't like the feeling that "attributes" simply decide if I hit the ball. Maybe I'm naive, but I like feeling like I had to pinpoint where the ball was going (with the left stick) and swing accordingly.

That said, I'm still trying to give analog hitting a fair shake.
